Cisco Catalyst 4948 Ethernet Management Switch
The Cisco Catalyst 4948 Ethernet management switch contains two power supplies. The Cisco
Catalyst 4948 Ethernet management switch can continue to operate normally if one of those
power supplies fails.
Power Distribution Units
Each Oracle SuperCluster T5-8 contains two power distribution units, in either the Full Rack
or Half Rack version. The components within Oracle SuperCluster T5-8 connect to both power
distribution units, so that power continues to be supplied to those components should one of the
two power distribution units fail. For more information, see “Power Distribution Units Physical
