When you have completed these instructions for every ZFS storage appliance
in your system, approve and verify contacts to the ZFS storage appliances on
MOS.
See “Approve and Verify ASR Asset Activation” on page 219 for those instructions.

Configure ASR on SPARC T5-8 Servers (Oracle
ILOM)
Note - Do not attempt to copy and paste commands that span across multiple lines from this
section. Manually type commands that span across multiple lines to ensure the commands are
typed properly.
To configure the Oracle ILOM for SPARC T5-8 servers, complete the following steps on each
SPARC T5-8 server:
1.
Log in to the SPARC T5-8 server Oracle ILOM.

Display the available rules:
# show /SP/alertmgmt/rules
This lists the rules available, similar to the following:

Pick one of the rules and type the following command to determine if that rule is
currently being used:
# show /SP/alertmgmt/rules/rule-number
For example:
# show /SP/alertmgmt/rules/1
