5. CP-01 options
a. Section [3028] :
i Option 3 : CP-01 Enabled (Default enabled). Note: If that option is ‘Enabled’ while performing a manual panel reset, the system will reset
using CP-01 defaults settings. That option is not affected by a panel reset.
b. Option 4 : Auto verified fire zone(Default disabled) . This zone ensures that an alarm condition persists by resetting a tripped sensor in a fire
zone and confirming that the sensor has remained tripped or is waiting for the sensor to re-trip within a set period of time (e.g., cycling power to a
smoke detector to ensure the condition persists when power is restored). The alarm sequence for the zone is indicated below:
i Step #1 Duration 20 Seconds Sensor Reset
1 The event PGM event (04-01) is generated the first time an auto-verified fire zone is tripped. Program a PGM to activate on that
event with a delay of 20 sec (to create a smoke reset).
2 If the zone is define on input one with the option 2-wire smoke input enabled (Section [706] option [3]), the panel will reset the
smoke detector for 20 sec.
ii Step #2 Duration 10 Seconds Settle Time (Power-up)
iii Step #3 Duration 60 Seconds Check for Verified Alarm
Note: If another Fire device detects Fire during the Auto Verify or Delay sequence, the sequence is terminated
and alarms are immediately generated for all pending zones. This applies to all other Fire zones on the
system (i.e., two fire alarms anywhere on the system will cancel all pending fire delays and create
immediate alarms).
6. Call waiting cancel string.
a. Program this before the telephone number *70P…. To enable the call waiting
b. Place a note near the programming on the CMS phone number (Section 3071 to 3074) to advise the installer to not use a call waiting cancel
string on a non call waiting line and vice versa (do not use the call waiting cancel feature inappropriately). The system cannot use the Call waiting
cancel feature when dialing backup telephone number to be cp-01.
7. Event list:
