6.3.1.3 Isolating transformer
The servo amplifier can also be operated via an isolating transformer when:
} Protection against indirect contact is absolutely essential, despite a higher leakage cur-
rent
} An alternative method of contact protection is sought.
For details of how to connect the isolating transformer, please see the section under “Wir-
ing”.
INFORMATION
We recommend that the cables between the transformer and the servo
amplifier be kept as short as possible.
