The point position is determined by the pH and pCO
2
values from the patient
result. If the pH and pCO
2
values are outside the defined limits of the acid-base
chart, the message “Measurement out of range
” will appear on the chart in red and
the Print button will disappear.

Available buttons:
Print = to print out the displayed acid-base chart and the corresponding patient
result, if available - see above.
Back = to return to the Patient Result screen.
NOTICE: The information provided by the acid-base chart should only be used as
a guideline for interpreting the patient’s condition. The patient results must always
be examined carefully by a clinician before a proper diagnosis is made.
To recall the Patient Identification screen, press the ID button.

Patient result
audit trail
Any changes made to an existing result will be registered in the Audit Trail.
The Messages button is substituted with the Log button to indicate that changes
were made.
To see the audit trail, do the following:

Press Log on the Patient Result screen to display the following
buttons: Audit Trail and Messages.

Press Audit Trail.
The audit trail contains information about the operator who made the
change, time of change and new/old values.
The changes made at the same time are indicated with “–“ in Time
and User columns.

Use the up/down arrow buttons to scroll the list of changes.
Press Back to return to the Patient Result screen.
