3.13.3 ADF IMAGE ADJUSTMENT
Registration and Blank Margin
NOTE: Make a temporary test chart as shown above, using A3/11" x 17" paper.
1. Place the temporary test chart on the ADF and make a copy from one of the
feed stations.
2. Check the registrations, and adjust as necessary using the appropriate SP
modes, as follows.
SP mode
Side-to-side registration SP6-006-1
Leading edge registration SP6-006-2
Blank margin for the t
railing edge SP6-006-3
Side-to-side registration (Duplex: rear)
SP6-006-4
Sub-scan Magnification

1. Place the temporary test chart on the ADF and make a copy from one of the
feed stations.
2. Check the registration, and if necessary adjust it using SP6-007. The
specification is ±1.0%.
