9. Remove the laser unit [A].
After Replacing the Laser Unit
After replacing the laser unit, you must enter the LD parameters and adjust color registration.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Turn on the machine.
3. Make sure the machine is in "READY" status.
4. Enter the SP mode.
5. Select [Init. LSU Data].
Printer model: Engine Maintenance > Init. LSU Data
MF model: Engine Service Setting > Init. LSU Data
6. Close the front cover.
7. Execute [Color Registration].

MF model: Engine Service Setting > Color Registration
8. Enter the SP mode.
9. If necessary, adjust the registration settings for each tray and for the front and rear sides of the
paper in the SP mode.
