The paper transfer roller
and pressure roller can get
dirty when servicing jams.

• The paper transfer roller
is self-cleaning so the
fouling should not
continue.
• After 2 or 3 copies go
through, this should
clean the pressure
roller.

Toner is sticking to the
guide plate at the fusing
exit.
• This problem can
occur after
frequent paper
jams.
• Using thick paper
in Plain Paper
mode.
• When using Thin
paper frequently.
• The problem
presents over
time.
• Feed some blank
sheets to solve the
problem.
• Clean the fusing exit
guide plate (clean after
allowing sufficient time
for the fusing unit to
cool).
