5. Move the guide plate [C] underneath the fusing unit to the left, and then remove it.
6. Pull out the image transfer belt unit [D]. ( × 2)
After Replacing the Image Transfer Belt Unit
After replacing the image transfer belt unit, reset the PM counter and execute MUSIC.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Turn on the machine.
3. Enter the SP mode.
4. Execute [Reset Transfer Unit].
Printer model: Engine Maintenance > Reset Transfer
MF model: Engine Service Setting > Reset Transfer Unit
5. Close the front cover.
6. Execute [Trans Belt Adjustment].
Printer model: Engine Maintenance > Trans Belt Adj.
MF model: Engine Service Setting > Trans Belt Adjustment
7. If necessary, adjust the registration settings for each tray and for the front and rear sides of the
paper with the SP mode.
