2. Correct the misalignment of prinng and cung with crop marks at the same
me.
Procedure
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [] to display the screen shown below.

3. Press [], then [][] to display the screen shown below.
CROP-CUT ADJ.
TEST PRINT
4. Press [ENTER].
The test paern (C&C1) is printed and cut. One test paern is printed on the media.
5. Check the test paern (C&C1) condion.
Check whether the prinng posion (shaded part) and the cung posion (outer frame) are aligned. An
example of the prinng posion and the cung posion being misaligned is shown in the following gure.
"F" indicates the feed direcon of the media (the feed direcon) and "S" indicates the direcon of print
head movement (the scan direcon).
If the prinng posion and the cung posion are aligned, no correcons are necessary.
If the prinng posion and the cung posion are not aligned, proceed to the next procedure.
6. Press [] twice to display the screen shown below.
CROP-CUT ADJ.
TEST PRINT 2
7. Press [ENTER].
The test paern (C&C2) is printed and cut.
8. Press [] to display the screen shown below.

SETTING
9. Check the correcon values from the test paern (C&C2) condion.
The point where the cung line (
) intersects the correcon-value scale ( ) is the correcon value. In the
following gure, the correcon value is "−0.3."
Check the media feed direcon (the feed direcon) and the direcon of print head movement (the scan
direcon).
