5. Moisten the cleaning sck with the cleaning liquid.
IMPORTANT
Be sure to use one of the included cleaning scks.
6. Clean the locaons shown in the following gure.
Be especially careful to clean away any brous dust (lint).
7. When you have nished cleaning, move the print-head carriage to above the platen.
Move the print-head carriage by hand.
CAUTION
When moving the print-head carriage by hand, be sure to hold the specied posi-
on.
Moving it by holding posions other than that specied may deform and damage the cover.
