3. Finish setup.
Procedure
1. Make sure both edges of the media are above the grit rollers.
Be sure to place the right edge of the media on the right-end grit roller.
2. Move the le and right pinch rollers, placing them on both edges of the media.
Posion them approximately 10 mm (0.39 in.) from each edge of the media.
Point
• Be sure to use the le and right pinch rollers. The force with which the media is pinched varies between the middle pinch
rollers and the le and right pinch rollers. Using the middle pinch rollers to pinch the media will lead to unstable media
feeding.
• If you want to readjust the media posion before securing it in place, redo the procedure from step 2-1. If you just hold the
media to readjust its posion forcibly, the media will be skewed during prinng or will come loose, which will have an eect
on the prinng quality.
• To move the pinch rollers, push down close to the rail.
