Addressing
If communic
ation between the device and a controller or a computer will be established
via TCP/IP, please enter the IP settings here.

Enter IP adress, Subnet and, if applicable, Router.

Activate the Save the IP address in the device. option.
The IP address will be stored in the device so that it is retained even after switch‐
ing the system off and on again. It can be changed, however, from the PROFINET
controller.
Reading and transmitting values
If t
he values in the project and the values in the device differ, you can read the values
out from the device and adopt them in the project. Alternatively, you can transmit
values from the project to the device.

Click on Read from device.
The values are read from the device and adopted in the project.

Click on Transfer to device.
The values from the project are transmitted to the device.
