Power-On and Power-Up
5.1 Start-up order
The mechanical and electrical assembly work on the plant must be complete.
Before you commence starting up the control, you must ensure that it powers
up correctly with all its components and that it has been installed in compliance
with the EMC Guidelines.
The start-up procedure is detailed below. The order in which the individual steps
are taken is not mandatory, but recommended:
1. Power up and check the SINUMERIK 840D (chapter 5)
2. Basic settings (subsection 6.6.1) and
