Tightening torques for screw connections
The following tightening torques apply when tightening current-conducting connections (DC
link connections, motor connections, busbars, cable lugs) and other connections (ground
connections, protective conductor connections, steel threaded connections).

Note
Screw connections for protective covers
The screw connections for the protective covers made of Makrolon may only be tightened
with 2.5 Nm.
Cable and screw terminals
Cable and screw terminals must be checked regularly to ensure that they are securely in
position and retightened if necessary. Cabling must be checked for defects. Defective parts
must be replaced immediately.

Maintenance intervals
The actual intervals at which maintenance procedures are to be performed depend on the
installation conditions (cabinet environment) and the operating conditions.
