test lung initiated breaths before delivering
the next synchronized breath.
Step 67: SIMV functional test.
The ventilator does not trigger on the 2 to 3
test lung initiated breaths before delivering
the next synchronized breath, but provides
pressure support to the test lung initiated
breaths.
Refer the ventilator to qualified service personnel if it did not pass one of
the standard tests.
