10.0.5 Leak / Block Alarm
Step 11 Disconnect the fresh gas tubing from the ventilator.
This should initiate an audible and visual LEAK
alarm indication.
Step 12 Occlude the fresh gas outlet. This should initiate an
audible and BLOCK visual alarm indication.
Reconnect the tubing, audible and visual alarms should reset.
Press the reset button to clear the alarm panel of the alarm notification.
Step 13 From the Mode Select panel select SIMV, press
the confirm button.
10.0.6 High Pressure Alarm
Lower the High Pressure Alarm threshold below the
waveform plateau. The audible and visual High
Pressure alarm should be triggered. Reset the
alarm threshold.
10.0.7 Low Tidal Volume
Raise the Low Tidal Volume alarm threshold above
the waveform plateau. The audible and visual Low
Tidal Volume alarm should be triggered. Reset the
alarm threshold.
