3. Remove the three screws and then
remove the cover.
4. Create a gap between the battery and
the case by pushing the battery gently
with your finger as shown in the illustra-
tion. Then, insert a flat-head screwdriver
that has been wrapped in insulating tape
into the gap.

5. After moving the flat-head screwdriver
toward the protruding side so that the
battery comes loose from the protruding
portion, return it to its original position and
remove the battery.
6. Remove the old battery.
7. Fit a new battery (type CR-1620 3V or
equivalent) in the case with its positive (+)
side facing upward.
