A switch forwards the multicast traffic based on the information available on the multicast table. It sends
the multicast traffic of any group to only the ports that have hosts joined for that multicast group. This
mechanism prevents the unnecessary flooding of multicast traffic to all the ports.

7.1 IGMP Snooping Support
