9-8 GEARSHIFTING
• Align the center teeth on the gearshift shaft with the center
teeth on the gearshift cam shifter.
• Reassemble the clutch and crankcase cover. (7-8, 8-6)
• Install the gearshift lever.
Gearshift lever bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
• Reassemble the drive chain clip. (5-9)
• Refill transmission oil. (2-9)
• Refill engine coolant. (2-12)
• Inspect the gearshift lever for smooth movement.
• Inspect the brake pedal height. (2-20)
• Inspect the drive chain slack. (2-16)
