13-8 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• Connect the multi-circuit tester with the peak volt adaptor
between Black/White lead wire and White/Blue lead wire.
• Measure the highest peak voltage by depressing the kick
starter lever several times forcefully.
NOTE:
Be sure to connect the Red probe to the Black/White lead wire
and the Black probe to the White/Blue lead wire.
IGNITION COIL
• Remove the seat and fuel tank. (5-4)
• Remove the ignition coil 1.
Measure the ignition coil electrical resistance.

Approx. 0.17 – 0.70 Ω
Secondary
