V olvoTrucksNorthAmericawarrantstotherstpersonwhopurchasesthisvehicle
forpurposesotherthanresaleandtoeachsubsequentpurchaser,thatthisvehicleas
manufacturedbyV olvoTrucksNorthAmericawasdesigned,builtandequipped
toconform,atthetimeitleftthecontrolofV olvoTrucksNorthAmerica,withall
applicableU.S.EPANoiseControlRegulations.
Thiswarrantycoversthisvehicleasdesigned,builtandequippedbyV olvoTrucks
NorthAmerica,andisnotlimitedtoanyparticularpart,componentorsystemofthe
vehiclemanufacturedbyV olvoTrucksNorthAmericaDefectsindesign,assemblyor
inanypart,componentorsystemofthevehicleasmanufacturedbyV olvoTrucks
NorthAmerica,which,atthetimeitleftthecontrolofV olvoTrucksNorthAmerica
causednoiseemissionstoexceedFederalstandards,arecoveredbythiswarrantyfor
thelifeofthevehicle.

ANoiseControlSystemMaintenanceLogislocatedin“NoiseControlLog”,page12
.ThislogshouldbeusedtodocumentallNoiseControlSystemrelatedmaintenance,
whetherthemaintenanceresultsfromaspecicnoisecontrolsysteminspection,ora
deciencyidentiedduringanothergeneralmaintenanceevent.
Ifadditionallogspaceisneeded,furtherentriesmaybeaddedonaseparatesheetof
paper.Storetheseadditionswiththemainlogtopreserveacomprehensiverecord.It
isrecommendedthatcopiesofallnoiseemissionsrelatedmaintenanceinvoicesbe
retained.
ThefollowingNoiseControlSysteminspectionandmaintenanceinstructionscontain
suggestedmaintenanceintervals.Theseintervalsmayneedadjustmentinorderto
bestaccommodatethespecicvehicleusage.Thefollowinginstructionsonlyconcern
NoiseEmissionsrelateditemsanddonotaddressormodifyanygeneralvehicle
maintenancerequirements.
