Disengaging
Thecruisecontrolisdisengagedifthebrakeisdepressed,orifthecruisecontrol
switchissettoOFF.Iftheignitionkeyisturnedbacktotheaccessoriesposition(I),
thecruisecontrolsystemwillautomaticallybedisengaged.
Ifcongured,thecruisecontrolwillremainengagediftheclutchpedalisdepressed
forshortdurations(toallowshiftingwhileincruisecontrol).However,iftheclutch
pedalisdepressedforanextendedperiod(typicallygreaterthan5seconds),cruise
controlwillbedisengaged.
ResumingVehicleSpeed
Thepreviouslyselectedcruisespeedisretainedinthememory.Whenthecruise
controlswitchispushedtotheRESUMEposition,thevehicleresumesthepreviously
setspeed(providedvehiclespeedexceedsapproximately15km/h[10mph]whenthe
switchispressedandthespeedisnotabovethemaximumprogrammedspeed).
