burningasmuchfuelasatsealevel.Closelymonitorthegaugesduringhighaltitude
operation.Thethinnerambientairreducestheefciencyoftheenginecoolingsystem.
Engineoverheatorcylinderdamagecouldoccuriftheengineisoperatedatfullload
forextendedperiodsathighaltitudesinhotweather.Downshiftandreducevehicle
speedtoreduceengineloadwhendrivingonlonggradesintheseconditions.This
willhelpkeepengineairintakemanifoldandcoolanttemperatureswithinsafelimits.
