Thesystemmonitorstireairpressureinallcabtiresindependentlyandalertsthe
operatoroflowtirepressuresintwostages;
1.LowPressureAlert—Thelowpressurealertistriggeredwhentirepressure
is8%belowit’s“SetPoint”.Theoperatorisalertedbyanamberwarningtelltale
light/buzzerthatisdisplayedintheinstrumentcluster.Thesetpointpressureisa
nominaltirepressurethatissetatthefactory.
2.CriticallyLowAirPressure—Thecriticallylowairpressurealertistriggered
whentirepressureis18%belowit’s“SetPoint”.Thedriverisalertedbyared
ashingtelltalelight/buzzerthatisdisplayedintheinstrumentcluster.Thesetpoint
pressureisanominaltirepressurethatissetatthefactory.
