CAUTION
DuringtheParkedRegeneration,
theexhaustgastemperaturewillbe
elevated.DONOTparkthevehicle
withtheexhaustoutletnearammable
objectssuchastrees,awnings,etc.that
couldbedamagedbyelevatedexhaust
gastemperatures.
CAUTION
IfthevehicleisPARKEDinalocation
thatmaybehazardouswhenaparked
Regenerationbegins(i.e.,inclose
proximitytoammablematerials
orgases,insidetunnels,parked
underammableobjects,etc.),the
AftertreatmentDPFRegeneration
shouldbestopped.IfRegeneration
isstoppedbythevehicleoperator,
itmustbeinitiatedatalatertime
whenthevehicleisinasaferlocation.
Regenerationthatarestoppedandnever
restartedatalatertime,however,will
requirethatthevehiclebetakentoan
authorizedV olvoTruckdealertohave
theAftertreatmentparkedRegeneration
manuallystartedwithspecialservice
tools.
Note:IfpassiveRegenerationoccursduringvehicleoperation,idlespeedmay
increasewhenthevehicleisstoppedatatrafclighttomaintainproperRegeneration
conditions.
