AirLeakageCheck

TheAirLeakagecheckallowsthedrivertoaccuratelymeasuretheamountofair

pressuredropinthefrontandrearbrakeairsystems.Afterselectingthistestfromthe

DID,youarepromptedtoapplytheservicebrakefor60seconds.Afterapplyingand

holdingtheservicebrakefor60seconds,theDIDwilldisplaytheamountofpressure

dropinthebrakesystem.

BeforestartingthetestthroughtheDID,completethefollowing:

•Starttheengineandcheckthatthebrakepressuregaugesaregreaterthan136

Nm(100psi).

•Turnengineoff.

•Releaseallbrakesandallowthesystemtosettle(airgaugeneedlestopsmoving).

1.Whenrunningthebrakepressuretestthefollowingscreendisplays.Pressandhold

thebrakepedalforatotalof60seconds.
