Theexhaustpyrometergaugeindicatestheexhausttemperature,whichhelpsthe
operatorgetthebestefciencyfromtheengine.Variationsinengineloadcancause
theexhausttemperaturetovary.Forexample,highexhaustgastemperatureisthe
resultofprolongedengineluggingorover-fueling.Ifthepyrometerreadingshows
thatexhausttemperatureexceedsnormal,reducefueltotheengineuntiltheexhaust
temperatureisreduced.Shifttoalowergeariftheengineisoverloaded.
