System Prep System Prep is a simple-to-use
alternative to running the
individual functions for Wet Prime,
Purge Injector, Equilibrate, and
Condition Column (described later
in this chapter). It performs a
series of automated steps to fully
ready the separations module for
running samples.

Wet Prime Replaces solvent in the path from
the reservoirs to V1 and V2 and
then to waste (V3). Use to change
the solvent(s) in the system.

Purge Injector Removes mobile phase from the
sample loop and syringe, replacing
it with fresh mobile phase. As an
option, performs a compression
test.

compartment and column heater
(or column heater/cooler) at preset
values.
