Multicast Paging Settings Configuration
The following table lists the parameters you can use to change multicast paging settings.
Parameter multicast.codec <y0000000000xx>.cfg
Description
It configures the codec for multicast paging.
Example:
multicast.codec = G722
Permitted
Values
PCMU, PCMA, G729, G722
Default G722

Parameter multicast.receive_priority.enable <y0000000000xx>.cfg
Description
It enables or disables the IP phone to handle the incoming multicast paging calls when there is an active
multicast paging call on the IP phone.
Permitted
Values
0-Disabled, the IP phone will ignore the incoming multicast paging calls when there is an active multicast
paging call on the IP phone.
1-Enabled, the IP phone will receive the incoming multicast paging call with a higher priority and ignore
the one with a lower priority.
Default 1

Parameter multicast.receive_priority.priority <y0000000000xx>.cfg
Description
It configures the priority of the voice call (a normal phone call rather than a multicast paging call) in pro-
gress.
1 is the highest priority, 31 is the lowest priority.
Permitted
Values
0-Disabled, all incoming multicast paging calls will be automatically ignored when a voice call is in pro-
gress.

2-2
3-3

31-31
If it is set to other values, the IP phone will receive the incoming multicast paging call with a higher or
equal priority and ignore the one with a lower priority when a voice call is in progress.
