■ In the Organizer panel, select Management Services under a WX
switch or Domain Policies, then select Edit > Properties. Click on
HTTPS, Telnet, SSH & Web Auth at the top of the wizard.
2 Select Enabled to enable Telnet access, or clear Enabled to disable Telnet
access. By default, Telnet access is disabled.
3 In the Service Port Number box, type the TCP port number for the Telnet
server on the WX switch. The default TCP port is 23.
4 Do one of the following:
■ Go to “Configuring SSH”.
■ Select another item in the WX Switch wizard, if you are using this
wizard.
■ Click Finish to close the wizard and save changes.
Configuring SSH This section explains how to configure SSH access to the WX.
Before using SSH, you must use the CLI to generate an encryption key on
each WX switch you want to manage using SSH. You cannot generate
the key with 3WXM. For information, see the Wireless LAN Switch and
Controller Configuration Guide.
To configure SSH access to the WX:
1 Do one of the following:
■ Open the WX Switch wizard, then select HTTPS, Telnet, SSH & Web
Auth under Management Services in the organizer list of the System
and Administrative page.
■ In the Organizer panel, select Management Services under a WX
switch or Domain Policies, then select Edit > Properties. Click on
HTTPS, Telnet, SSH & Web Auth at the top of the wizard.
2 Select Enabled to enable SSH access, or clear Enabled to disable SSH
access. By default, SSH access is enabled. The default TCP port is 22.
3 Do one of the following:
■ Go to “Disabling or Reenabling Web AAA”.
■ Select another item in the WX Switch wizard, if you are using this
wizard.
■ Click Finish to close the wizard and save changes.
