5 To add a port to the port group, select the Member checkbox for the
port. The port group name appears in the Port Group column for the
port.
6 To remove a port from a port group, clear the Member checkbox for the
port.
7 To change the membership of a port that is in another port group, select
the Member checkbox for the port.
The Port Group Member Remove dialog box appears. Click Yes to change
the port’s membership. Click No to leave the membership unchanged.
8 Click Finish to save the changes.
9 Do one of the following:
■ Go to “Configuring IP Services”.
■ Select another item in the WX Switch wizard, if you are using this
wizard.
■ Click Finish to close the wizard and save changes.

You can configure the following IP services:
■ Static routes (See “Configuring Static Routes” on page 238.)
■ IP aliases (See “Configuring IP Aliases” on page 242.)
■ Domain Name System (DNS) service (See “Configuring DNS” on
page 244.)
■ Network Time Protocol (NTP) service (See “Configuring NTP” on
page 247.)
■ Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) entries (See “Configuring ARP” on
page 250.)
Configuring Static
Routes
The IP routing table contains routes that MSS uses for determining the
interfaces for a WX switch’s external communications. When you add an
IP interface to a VLAN that is up, MSS automatically adds corresponding
entries to the IP routing table.
For destination routes that are not directly attached, you can add static
routes. A static route specifies the destination and the gateway router
