8 Optionally, in the Level box, specify the amount of information included
in the trace output (0 to 10). 0 provides the minimum amount of
information and 10 proves the maximum amount of information. The
default is 5.
CAUTION: Running tracing can have adverse effects on system
performance. 3Com recommends that you initially use the lowest levels
possible and slowly increase the levels to get the necessary data.
9 Optionally, in the User Name box, type the username to trace.
Specify a username no longer than 60 alphanumeric characters that
contains no spaces or tab characters.
10 Optionally, in the MAC Address box, type the MAC address to trace.
Specify a MAC address, using colons to separate the octets (for example,
00:11:22:aa:bb:cc).
11 Optionally, in the Port Name box, type the port number to trace.
12 Click Finish.
Deleting Traces
To delete a trace:
1 In the Organizer pane, expand the Mobility Domain that contains the
domain policy or WX switch.
2 Expand the domain policy or switch.
3 Expand Management Services.
4 Expand Log.
5 Expand Trace.
6 Select the trace you want to delete.
7 Select Edit > Delete. The Delete Objects dialog box appears.
8 Click Finish to delete the trace. The trace is deleted.
Setting the Timezone You can specify the number of hours (and optionally the minutes) that
the WX switch’s real-time clock is offset from Coordinated Universal Time
