The 3WXM Services Setup window contains a configuration area and a
message area at the bottom. When you click Save to implement changes
you make on one of the window’s tabs, the monitoring service verifies the
changes. If the changes are valid, the service implements the changes.
Otherwise, the service displays error messages and does not implement
the changes.
By default, the monitoring service does not allow remote connections.
The first time you access the service, you must do so from the machine on
which the service is installed. Then you can configure the service to allow
remote connections. (See “Changing Service Settings” on page 542.)
