needs to save backup copy 49, the service deletes backup copy 1 to make
room for the new backup.
7 To change the name of the key store file that contains the encryption keys
the monitoring service uses for authentication with 3WXM, edit the
name in the File box. The default name is .services_keystore.
8 To change the password that protects access to the key store file, edit the
value in the Password box.
9 To specify the file type for the key store file, select one of the following:
PKCS12 — Public-Key Cryptography Standard number 12, the
standard format used by Unix machines.
JKS — Java Key Store, a format used by Java platforms and
applications.
10 To allow instances of 3WXM running on other machines to access the
monitoring service on this machine, select Allow remote access. By
default, only local access is allowed.
11 To restrict access to the monitoring service to specific users:
a Click Allow all users to deselect the option. If this is the first user
account to be configured for the monitoring service, the Add account
dialog box is displayed.
Otherwise, click one of the following buttons to display the dialog
box:
Add Admin Account — Users with the admin role can view
monitored data, change the list of monitored WX switches, and
change any other monitoring service preferences.
If this is the first user account, the monitoring service inserts the
username you used to log onto the machine that is running the
monitoring service in the Account Name box. However, you are not
required to use this name. In fact, you are not required to use a name
that matches a user account on the machine.
