Restoring the Database 559
To restore the database:
1 Stop the monitoring service. (See “Starting or Stopping the Monitoring
Service” on page 537.)
2 Access a command-line interface on the machine where the monitoring
service is installed.
3 Enter the following command:
dbtools -restore [filename.zip]
where filename.zip is the name of a backup file. Specify only the
filename, without the path name. If you do not specify a filename, the
most recent backup is used.
