®
Customer Training Guide
94858-103 — July 2003
Multiple Rgt Ctgs Allows for multiple
(e.g., more than two)
reagent cartridges per
assay to be placed on
the System.
CAUTION:
If the Multiple Rgt
Ctgs option is
configured ON, the
Reagent Link option is
not functional— i.e.,
R1 and R2 cartridges
are not linked.
A maximum of two
sets of reagent
cartridges/pairs per
assay will be used by
the System.
If two or more
cartridges with the
same reagent name are
loaded in a Reagent
Supply Center at the
same time, new
cartridges must be
loaded in a higher
numbered position than
the cartridges already
onboard. The System
first aspirates from the
cartridge in the lowest
number position. An
Error Log Message is
generated each time a
cartridge is empty and
the System transfers to
the next cartridge.
For assays using two
reagent cartridges, the
R1/R2 pair must be
placed on board at the
same time.
New reagent cartridges
should be placed in a
higher numbered position
than cartridges already
onboard. A maximum of
two reagent cartridges/
pairs per assay are utilized
by the System.
