3.7.1 Driving the Alarm Inputs
For an alarm input to be recognised, the input device must hold a changed state for a period of
100 ms.
For a valid closed contact, the total resistance, including wiring resistance, must be below
150 ohms.
For an open contact to be valid the resistance presented at the alarm input must be above
2,500 ohms.
The alarm inputs and numbering for all channels is shown below. Note that the alarm input
ground connections are not isolated from the chassis ground.
