Solvent Delivery System
Cleaning the Solvent Filter
1 Remove the blocked solvent filter from the bottle-head assembly and place
it in a beaker with concentrated nitric acid (65 %) for one hour.
2 Thoroughly flush the filter with LC grade water (remove all nitric acid,
some columns can be damaged by concentrated nitric acid; check with pH
indicator).
3 Reinstall the filter.
When If solvent filter is blocked

Concentrated nitric acid (65 %)
Bidistilled water
Beaker
Preparations Remove solvent inlet tube from the inlet valve.
