Solvent Delivery System
Maintenance of a Pump Head
When Seal leaking, if indicated by the results of the leak test.

8710-0510 Wrench open 1/4 — 5/16 inch
8710-2392 Hexagonal key, 4.0 mm, 15 cm long, T-handle
Parts required p/n Description
5063-6589 Piston seal PTFE, carbon filled, black (pack of 2), default
0905-1420 PE seals (pack of 2)
5022-2159 Restriction capillary
Preparations Switch off the pump at the main power switch.
Remove the upper front cover.

Place the pump head on a flat surface. Loosen the lock
screw (two turns).

While holding the lower half of the assembly (piston
housing), carefully pull the pump housing away from the
piston housing.
