duress code then the system will disarm as usual but a alarm message will directly be sent to the central
station that the system was disarmed under threat.
►! When using the DURESS code, the dedicated dialer LED will not be light up for 15 minutes and the
“Information present” message will be suppressed. After 15 minutes or disarming the system with a valid
user code the “Information present” message will appear.
Telephone number
The supervisor (usercode 90) can modify all data for alarm reporting to private (mobile) telephone numbers.
Private alarm reporting can only be used when transmitting via PSTN or GSM. For PSTN or GSM transmission
a PSTN plug-on dialer (art.nr. 004166) or GSM plug-on dialer (art.nr. 004165) is required.
The following programming options are available:
Telephone number: Telephone number 1-4
Protocol: choice between SPEECH, SIREN, SMS or EMAIL (firmware version 3.2 and above)
Dial attempts: programmable between 0 and 9 times. If the dial attempts for a specific telephone
number are set to NO CALLING then this telephone number will be skipped and the
dialer will start dialing the following number.
Email recipient: The email address of the receiving party
Messages: V3.60 and above. Here you can determine which type of messages are reported to
the relevant private telephone or mailed to the relevant email address.
►! By default, only the 'SIREN' , 'SMS' or ‘EMAIL (version 3.2 and above)’ protocol can be used to report
alarms to private telephones. Only if the AlphaVision ML main board is equipped with a speech plug-on
board (art.nr. 004162) the ‘SPEECH’ protocol can be used.
When programming telephone numbers the following special characters can be used:
"-" program in front of the telephone number. The Alpha Vision ML will wait for a dial tone and once the dial
tone is detected it will start calling (example: 0-0332459944). The AlphaVision ML now waits for a dial tone
from the outside line.
"w" program in front of the telephone number if the control panel is connected to a telephone exchange
system and an outside line must first be chosen first. The AlphaVision ML will wait 2 seconds and call
whether a dial tone is detected or not (example: 0w0332459944).
Speech and sound
Within the submenu speech and sound, the following programming options are present:

►! The programming options ‘Change volume’ and ‘Speech option’ within the speech and sound
submenu are only applicable if the AlphaVision ML is equipped with a speech plug-on board (art.nr. 004162)
and a keypad (equipped with integrated speakers and microphone art.nr. 004128) or an external 4-8 ohm
speaker are connected to the speech plug-on board.
