Installer manual AlphaVision ML Rev. 3.60 01-01-2015 72
A choice must be made for one of the above EOL resistance values. The choice applies for the entire system
and not per zone!
The choice for different EOL resistor values also includes zones that are connected to the AlphaVision Input
+ 8 o.c. modules and I / O module however the AlphaVision expansion modules must be equipped with
eprom V5.2 of higher.
For foreign (non Alphatronics) panels were no EOL resistor value is stated for the Anti-mask contact in the
above table the Alphatronics 39K resistor may always be used to also have anti-mask detection per zone.
►! All new zone inputs must be connected according to the programmed EOL resistor value
Total/Partial arming (V3.50 and higher)
Using this programming option it is possible to block the use of the Total , Partial and Disarm
buttons on the keypad so arming/disarming is only possible via de section (partition) method. When
Total/Partial arming is no longer possible then the status LEDs ( ) and ( ) will no longer illuminate.
Keyswitch option (V3.60 and higher)
This programming option is designed for AV ML installations using a keyswitch (or external device
connected to an input that is programmed as a keyswitch) to arm/disarm the system and use an existing
keypad as an optical and acoustic tool. There are three programming choices available:
No action (off)
Display open zones - Do not arm the system and display open zones immediately on keypad set to
address 1
Block + Display – Arm the system with automatic bypassing (if prohibited in the zone programming)
of all open zones and if certain zones are not permitted to bypass display the open zones directly.
Battery monitoring (V3.60 and higher)
Here it can be determined whether battery-monitoring / low battery detection of the AlphaVision ML
control panel is available or not. In some situations it may be desirable to arm the system even with a low
battery, default this is not possible.
If the battery monitoring is set to 'off' then there will be no visible or audible indication on the keypad for
the end user. In addition, no alarm notification will take place.
►! This option does not meet the standard EN50131 and is disabled by default.
