Alarm cancel
The Alarm cancel option allows you to program a time in which an alarm can be cancelled. When an alarm is
cancelled within the time frame programmed here, the control panel will send a special SIA cancel (BC)
message or Contact ID code (406) to the monitoring station, informing the operator that the alarm can be
considered as a user error. An overview of all SIA and Contact ID event codes can be found at the
appendices of this manual.
The Alarm cancel option is very useful in cases when arming and disarming is not reported to the monitoring
station. The monitoring station receives a special code directly following an alarm, informing them that the
user disarmed the system directly after the alarm. Alarm cancel only works with alarms from ‘Direct’ zones.
The time can be programmed from 00 to 99 seconds.
Inactivity
Each zone can be programmed to function as ‘Activity monitoring’. Activity monitoring is used in situations
where people need to be monitored, e.g. elderly people. Inactivity only works when the sections
