Installer manual AlphaVision ML Rev. 3.60 01-01-2015 81
Protocol
In this programming option the protocol (Speech/Siren/SMS) is programmed which is used for reporting to a
private telephone. This option is programmable for each of the four telephone numbers. With a PSTN or
GSM plug-on board, the options Siren and SMS can be selected. When the AlphaVision ML also uses a
speech plug-on board, the option ‘Speech’ can be selected.
From firmware V3.2 the 'Email' option is added as a protocol for private reporting. For each private number
(1-4) the protocol option 'Email' can be chosen to ensure that alarm and status messages are sent to the
email address of the called party. In the programming option "Email recipient" the email address of the
receiving party can be programmed.
►! For email notification some basic settings must also be programmed, these can be found in the
Dialer section - LAN / GPRS - Diverse LAN / GPRS settings.
Dial attempts
In this programming the number of dial attempts (0-9) for each private telephone number is programmed.
►! When the user disarms the system within 20 seconds after an alarm, the calling cycle will stop
immediately!
Stop dial sequence for private reporting (v2.00 and higher)
The dialing sequence for reporting to private (mobile) phone numbers will be stopped immediately once the

alarm caused by a user error. Stopping the dialing sequence applies only for private reporting using analog
(PSTN) or GSM.
