When both central stations are programmed, the control panel will first try to transmit the messages to the
first programmed number. Only when the message cannot be delivered to the first central station number,
the second number is dialed.
Private telephone messages
The Private telephone messages option allows programming of which types of messages are reported to
private telephone numbers. These options are divided in the same three categories and are identical to the
options at the Monitoring station messages option.
! From software V2.0 and above the dialing sequence for reporting to private (mobile) phone numbers
will be stopped immediately once the system is disarmed.
Test report
This option determines whether or not a 24 hour test report (one test message every 24 hours) is sent to
the monitoring station. Default setting of the Test report message is ON.
Time test report
This option programs the exact time that the 24 hour test report will be sent. Default is 02.00 hrs. (AM)
Diverse options
The Diverse options menu offers several programming options regarding alarm reporting. The following
options can be set:
Telephone line monitoring
GSM active
Pincode SIM
SMS service number
Ring-in
Download code
Acceptance mode
Telephone line monitoring
When the AlphaVision ML control panel is equipped with a PSTN plug-on board, the system can check if the
analog telephone line (PSTN) is present. The voltage of the telephone line is checked every 3 seconds and
when the voltage on the line drops below 3VDC for more than 10 seconds, an alarm message will show up in
the display and in the event log. When the AlphaVision ML does not have a PSTN plug-on board connected,
this setting can be left off. Default setting is OFF.
GSM active
When the AlphaVision ML control panel is equipped with a GSM plug-on board, the GSM active option
needs to be set to ON. The GSM module can be used as primary dialer for reporting to the central station or
to private telephone numbers over the GSM net, or as a backup dialer for the PSTN dialer. When alarm
reporting fails over PSTN, the control panel will try and transmit the alarm message over GSM. Programming
options are ON, OFF and GSM as BACKUP. Default setting is OFF.
Pincode Simcard
When a GSM module is used, this option is used for programming the SIM card’s PIN code (required).
SMS-Servicenumber
When the AlphaVision ML control panel must report SMS text messages to private (mobile) telephone
numbers via the PSTN or GSM dialer, an SMS service center (SMSC) is required. The SMS service center
ensures that the SMS text messages sent from a fixed PSTN line are sent to the correct (mobile) telephone.
The default programming is the Dutch-based SMS service center of provider KPN: 0653141414. With some
