Installer manual AlphaVision ML Rev. 3.60 01-01-2015 69
Complete arming
The AlphaVision ML keypad is equipped with a (total) key to the arm the entire system. In this
programming option you determine which section (s) will be armed when the user presses the button.
If the programming option ‘Quick arming’ is programmed as ‘yes the system will immediately be completely
armed without the need to enter a user code.
! If quick arming is enabled in the programming it may be possible for certain users to arm sections
that the user code normally has no authorization for !.
Aux button
In this programming option you can determine what the function of the AUX button is of all wireless
keyfobs. This function is only meaningful if the AlphaVision ML has a wireless expansion module and uses
keyfobs for wireless arming and disarming. The function that is set affects all keyfobs and is not
programmable separately per keyfob. The following functions are possible:
STATUS request the status of the system (works only if the AlphaVision ML is also equipped with a
speech plug-on board and a keypad with integrated speakers, a 4-8 ohm speaker or an external
speakerphone is connected),
ARM WITHOUT DELAY by pressing the AUX button within 5 seconds of an exit delay the delay time
will immediately stop and the system will be armed.
Activate an OUTPUT
For the programming optionactivate an OUTPUT’ it is also necessary to define the output as TRIGGER
OUTPUT in the ‘OUTPUT’ programming.
Backlight and section LED screensaver option
This determines whether the backlight of the LCD display and silicone keys of the keypads are constantly
illuminated or will turn off automatically after 20 seconds. Once a key is pressed then the backlight will light-
up again for 20 seconds. If the option “off after 20 seconds” is programmed also the status and section LED's
will turn off after 20 seconds. This option is especially useful for keypads that are visible from outside the
secured premises.
If the option 'off after 20 seconds "is selected and the system is armed, then after the expiration of the 20
seconds the backlight and LED’s will extinguish. Now if an alarm or fault occurs, then according to
regulations no alarm or status information will be displayed immediately. Only after entering a valid PIN-
code this information will be visible.
Arming- and disarming in historical log
Here you determine whether arming/disarming actions are stored in the historical log.
Configuration
Within the programming option "Configuration" the following options are programmed:
How many keypads are connected, which section (s) they are linked to and whether the keypads
that are connected are existing AlphaVision NG keypads, new AlphaVision ML keypads, LED normal
or LED last door keypads. From firmware version 3.50 and higher you can program for AlphaVision
NG/AlphaBox keypads which section(s) the A and B led represent on the keypad.
Whether hardwired expansion modules (Input + 8 o.c. or I/O modules) are connected.
Whether an external proximity reader (art.code 004326) is connected.
Whether a KNX module (firmware 3.50 and higher) is connected.
In total 8 pieces LCD, LCD/PROX or LED keypads, 1 external proximity reader and 3 expansion modules can
