Installer manual AlphaVision ML Rev. 3.60 01-01-2015 63
The 'Test Mode' option is designed to enable all walk test LEDs remotely of hard-wired detectors (if this
option is available in the detector) during the walk test function. This option is available from software V2.0
and higher.
The option 'FOLLOW INP. 01-44" is intended to link the output directly to an input. The status of the output
is synchronized with the status of the input. This feature can be useful for activating external applications or
to provide real-time information whether an input is opened / closed.
The activation time of the alarm relay output is programmable in the installer menu "TIMERS" in the
programming option "Output 1 and 2”. The programmed time only applies for "ALARM". All other options
are special functions and have a specific activation time depending on the chosen option. An alarm output
can be used for example to drive an external flashlight or siren. If the output is programmed as 'ALARM' and
a 'fire alarm' occurs then there will be no difference in activation. In situations where fire detectors are
present it is wise to connect separate slow-whoop sirens or use the LS output !
Open collector output 3 and 4
Outputs 3 and 4 are open collector (o.c.) outputs for external signaling. The o.c. outputs can be loaded with
a maximum current consumption of 200mA. An external relay should be applied if the current consumption
is higher than 200mA. The open collector outputs can be activated in the following situations:
ALARM
OK (ready to arm)
BUZZER SECTION 1 to 8 (entry- and exit delay)
PARTIALLY (partial arming)
TOTALLY (total arming)
FIRE RESET (reset hard-wired fire detectors)
TRIGGER OUTPUT (activate an output via a PIN-code, keyfob or (mobile) telephone)
SECTION 1 to 8 ARM/DI (Indication that the section has been armed or not)
ALARM SECTION 1 to 8 (alarm in section 1 to 8)
FIRE
TEST MODE
FOLLOW INP. 01-100
The output types available are exactly the same as the types available for the alarm relay output 1 and 2.
The activation time of the open collector outputs is programmable in the installer menu "TIMERS" in the
programming option "Output 3 and 4”.
In situations where fire detectors are
present it is wise to connect separate slow-whoop sirens or use the LS output. The maximum current that
can be drawn must not exceed 200mA !
Outputs 5-8 (V3.00 and above)
Outputs 5 to 8 on hard-wired expansion modules (Input + 8 oc or I / O module) can are also to be controlled.
The available programming options are identical to the options for outputs 1 to 4. The activation for outputs
1-4 on an expansion module run in parallel with the outputs 1 to 4 on the AlphaVision ML mainboard.
KNX outputs (V3.50 and above)
A total of 50 virtual KNX outputs can be programmed. Per KNX output a Name, the output (event) type and
a activation time can be programmed.
