Zone names: Standard Library with a choice of 28 standard zone names or freely programmable per zone.
Speech reporting: If the control panel is equipped with a speech plug-on board alarm and status
information can be transmitted as speech messages to fixed or mobile telephone numbers.
2-way voice capability: If the control panel is equipped with a speech plug-on board which is connected to a
keypad (max. 1 piece) containing an integrated microphone and speakers (art.nr. 004121) or an external
speakerphone, a remote 2-way voice connection can be established.
Zone types: Direct, Delayed 1-5, 24-hour quiet, 24-hour loud, Fire, Social alarm, Hold up, Sabotage,
Follower, Follower Delayed, Emergency door, Technical alarm, Gas, Water, Temperature, Direct dialer input
and Key switch.
Zone characteristics: N.C.(normally closed), N.O. (normally open), End of Line (N.O.), End of Line (N.C.),
Wireless and Not active. For specifications about End of Line resistors see chapter “Inputs with EOL
resistors”.
Outputs:
Loudspeaker (LS) output 8 ohm 15W
2 potential free relay outputs (max. current through the contact is 300mA @ 12VDC)
2 open collector (O.C.) outputs 200mA. The maximum cable length on this output may not exceed
3m.
4 terminals for (outgoing) +12V power supply, divided in a 3-pole terminal connector (secured by a
500mA polyfuse) and an extra +12V terminal connector next to the outputs (also secured by a
500mA polyfuse).
RS-485 bus (including a +12V terminal, secured bu a 500mA polyfuse)
The +12V connectors provide a continuous supply between 9.0 and 15.5 VDC and each can deliver a total
current consumption of 500mA. The total (of all +12V connections) power consumption for a grade 2 system
may not exceed 500mA. If a higher power consumption is necessary, it must be solved by means of an
additional power supply, for example with the aid of an I/O module. The maximum ripple on the output
voltage is 250mV.
User codes: Max. 90 user codes (more than one user code can be programmed as a supervisor code), duress
code option, 1x installer code. Users have the choice of using a PIN-code or Proximity tag (optional). The
total of both PIN-codes and proximity tag’s is 90. PIN-code 000000 is an invalid code. Based on 6-digit PIN-
codes there are 999,999 valid codes possible. If the duress code option is used, there are 499,999 valid
codes. The code of a proximity pass is automatically translated into a 6-digit PIN code
Keypads: Minimum 1 piece and maximum 8 pieces LCD or LCD/PROXIMITY keypads can be connected. One
keypad can be equipped with a speaker and microphone (art.nr. 004128).
Proximity Reader: Maximum 1 external proximity reader can be connected. The proximity reader can only
be used in combination with one or more LCD/PROX keypads to be able to enroll proximity tag’s (may not
be used in grade 2 installations).
Keyfobs: Optional 8 pieces wireless keyfobs for arming/disarming the AlphaVision ML if it is equipped with a
wireless expansion module.
