8.13 Manual input (Man.In)
Available in Quality Control and Advanced Analysis modes.
This function allows you to input manual measurement values, including Torque, Angle and
Pulses, in to your ACTA 3000.
This is useful where it may be difficult to access an application on the line with a transducer
connected to an ACTA 3000. Therefore, you can record the measurements with a digital
torque wrench and then enter them manually into the ACTA 3000.
The measurements will be regarded as genuine measurements by your ACTA 3000 but in
ToolsTalk ACTA it will be noted that the measurements are manually entered.
1. Select the “Man.In” menu block. A pop up dialog box appears with two parameters:
• Tightening “Tightening” will display the old pop-up dialog box for
you to enter tightening values (torque, angle and number of
pulses).
• Tool comment “Tool comment” will open an input field for you to enter a
comment concerning a tool. For example, if the tool is
moved from position or damaged etc.
• Controller Controller” will display a pop-up dialog box for you to
enter controller torque and controller angle for the latest
tightening operation. The old controller value is displayed
in the input field.
2. Select the parameter in which you wish to enter a value, either by
highlighting and pressing ‘Enter’ or quick-selecting by number.
3. Input your values by repeating this step.
4. When you have set all parameters to your preference, you must confirm
your selection and then exit the Manual Input dialog box.
5. In order to do this, use the arrows to highlight OK in the top left corner and
press ‘Enter’ or simply press the ‘OK’ button on the keypad.
Your selections are confirmed; the measurement dialog box returns and you can
see your manually entered value on the display.
