PF3000 serial Power Focus 3000 serial communication selected.
PF3000 infrared Power Focus 3000 infrared communication selected.
Infrared communication with PF controller if:
“Controller” (Prog.-1-3) is set to “PF3000”
“Communication” (Prog.-1-5) is set to “Infrared”
“Com.” is set to “Controller”.
Barcode serial Barcode communication selected.
PowerMac serial PowerMac communication selected.
If controller is selected and the ACTA 3000 is programmed for infrared, the ACTA 3000 will try to
communicate with the controller. Make sure that it is possible to point the ACTA 3000 towards the
controller display (infrared). When starting communication on different controllers, the following occurs:
DS infrared:
DS drive will start to flash “- -“, “ -- “. Press the ‘Enter’ button (the arrow) until the display
starts flashing “ir”.
PF3000 Compact infrared:
PF drive will start to flash “-Ir-“, “ “. Press ‘Enter’ button (the arrow) until the display starts
flashing “-Ir-“, “ Ir “.
PF3000 Graph infrared:
A text window on the screen says:
“IR connect requested from the ACTA 3000 on local channel 0. Press ‘OK’ to acknowledge,
wait or cancel to refuse.”
Press ‘OK’ on the PF. A new message appears:
“IR connect requested from the ACTA 3000 on local channel 0. Press ‘OK’ to acknowledge,
wait or cancel to refuse.”
This information will be on the display until communication is closed with the “Com” button or another
tool is selected on the ACTA 3000.
